Accessibility

Our website pages are optimised for 1024 x 768 pixel screens and share a common structure:
  1. The top of the page has our main navigation links
  2. The middle of the page contains the content unique to that page
  3. Any links to the right or bottom of the main page link to relevant documents and external pages
  4. At the bottom of the website is the footer with our copywrite and links to our terms and conditions, safe web use, accessibility, cookies and contact us pages.
Changing the text size
Internet Explorer (5, 6 and 7)
  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click the "View" menu link (or press Alt and v)
  3. Click "Text Size" (or press x)
  4. Choose your preferred text size
Changing the font
Internet Explorer 5, 6 and 7
  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click the "Tools" link at the top of the window (or press Alt and t)
  3. Click on "Internet Options" (or press o)
  4. Click "Accessibility" (or press Alt and e)
  5. Tick the "Ignore font styles specified on Web pages" box with the mouse (or by pressing Alt and s)
  6. Click "OK" (or press enter)
  7. Click "Fonts" (or press Alt and n)
  8. Choose a font with the mouse (or press Alt and w and arrow through the list)
  9. Press "Enter" twice or click "OK" twice
Changing the font colour or background colour
Internet Explorer 5, 6 and 7
  1. Click on the "Tools" menu (or press Alt and t)
  2. Click on "Internet Options" (or press o)
  3. Click on the "Colors" button (or press Alt and o)
  4. Choose to have your Windows colour scheme reflected by selecting the "Use Windows colors" option with the mouse or by pressing Alt+W. or Choose either the Text button with the mouse (or by pressing Alt and t), or the Background button with the mouse (or by pressing Alt and b).
  5. Choose the colour with the mouse or by using the arrow keys.
  6. Click the "OK" button twice, or press Enter twice.

Links to external websites and downloadable files, such as PDFs, will open in a new
browser window when you click on them, allowing you to switch between mynrpension.co.uk and the newly opened window.

Adobe Reader allows users to easily and reliably view, print, and search PDF files using a variety of platforms and devices. It can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/reader
